Prayer for Young People in Summertime

We all know that summer time is a time of excitement, relaxation and holidays. But for many, especially our young people, it can mean a summer of work around farms, businesses etc. We say this prayer to pray to God for their safety and wellbeing.

God our Father, be with me as I face the daily dangers of my job. I never know what is going to happen or what I will have to deal with, but You do, God. I pray for Your protection as I enter into the unknown. Allow me to trust in You and give me the confidence I need to do my job to the best of my ability. Do not let me act in fear, but in the knowledge that You are the one who holds the future. Amen.
